I was confused by the website site. I thought Best' B and B was a Motel/resort style hotel that offered breakfast. It wasn't. In fact it was an old shearer's shed that had been converted into a modern family home. The design left no feeling of privacy. There was no TV in the room which was very basic, just queen size bed and lamps and this was an upgrade. Far too expensive at 9 when you can be more comfortable at a motel at in Swan Hill.
I felt under constant surveillance, felt paranoid. Being in a private house converted to a Band B is strange only a few doors open to you and the rest with private property, do not enter signs which feels very uninviting. Our hosts ate breakfast with us. The guest bathroom had many little shampoo's soaps but the neatness of the place and the proximity of the hosts made you feel unable to use anything.
To use tea and coffee making facilities you had to use the family kitchen crossing the main family room. This is imposing.
The Pioneer Village was excellent.
Book Best's Riverbed , or Swan Hill Accommodation and Hotels.
